Phil’s
working life is spent communicating
to corporations on his passion for
leadership and coaching their senior
leaders, primarily in the UK and
US. His clients include FTSE 100
and Fortune 500 companies, mainly
within the media/telecom and financial
services sectors. He coaches numerous
CEOs as well as Arctic Explorers,
TV personalities and professional
sportsmen including international
athlete, Jonathan Edwards CBE, whom
he accompanied to his successful
Gold Medal winning Olympic Games
in Sydney 2000.
His
transformational coaching interventions
include products such as ‘Toxic
Talent Transformed’, a high-impact
process for those highly talented, yet
troublesome individuals that plague many
organisations. He has created coaching
retreats in such diverse locations as
Soweto and Snowdonia and more recently,
the North Pole.
As
a speaker, he is a master storyteller.
His style is passionate and energised,
content rich, inspiring and certainly
not for the faint-hearted. Having led
in many diverse and cross-cultural settings
he understands the realities and issues
faced by leaders and knows what it takes
to help others develop and succeed. Whenever
he speaks he does so primarily as a practitioner,
a student of leadership and those entrusted
with it.
Phil
is unique on the corporate speaking circuit
with his mixed background working as both
a London Police Riot Squad Officer, leadership
trainer and mentor within the voluntary
sector and now as an Executive coach to
senior corporate leaders. He also founded
the international charity HopeHIV, that
works in hundreds of communities throughout
sub-Saharan Africa coaching AIDS Orphans.
His entrepreneurial work has been the
focus of a TV documentary and been profiled
and honoured by international media publications.

company. He is married and has three young
children. They live in London, England.
