The Southport Theatre
Venue hosts 1500 ROOTS delegates each year for intense
teaching and worship. This year, the venue will be led
by Margaret Yuill, Drew McCombe (pictured right) and
Mark Sawyer.

Margaret Yuill has been a Salvation
Army officer for 33 years, and has a passion for serving
building strong relationships in order to see others
come to faith in Jesus. Her genuine spirit helps facilitate
a meaningful worship experience.
Drew McCombe is currently serving the
Salvation Army in corps team ministry at Chatham Corps
and as the Divisional Director of Evangelism in London
South East division. His key passion is re-igniting
the Army and its people in their faith.
Mark Sawyer is the Corps Officer in
Castleford, Yorkshire and has been a member of the ROOTS
team for many years. He is keen to transition the Army
into being a relevant 21st century church.
This year, we introduce Phil
Laeger (pictured left) as worship leader in the Theatre.
Phil is a Salvationist from the US Southern Territory
and a gifted musician and songwriter. He will be supported
by an orchestral ensemble as he leads worship from the
keyboard.
