ministry at her corps in Sutton, helps to lead a parent/toddler
programme each week, believes strongly in relational
evangelism and works part time as a probation officer
as well!
Wendy Stanbury works full time as a

at her corps in Ivybridge (near Plymouth). She is married
to Kevin and they have two daughters, Rosie and Eve.
Wendy and Kevin will be entering The Salvation Army's
William Booth College in September 2005.
Richard Prescott will be leading worship
at the Kids venue for the first time at ROOTS 05. He
works for the Salvation Army as the DCO in the West
Midlands division. He also serves as the Children's
Ministries team leader (YPSM) at Gloucester Corps. He
is passionate about seeing children relate their faith
experience to their everyday lives. Richard is married
to Vivienne and they have two sons, Jordan (13) and
Jotham (9).
Roger Batt leads children's work
for The Salvation Army in the UK. With many other people
who are sold out for children, he aims to do the best
he can to raise up a generation of children who will
want to both love God themselves and make a difference
for Him in His world. When not busy working, he loves
to both watch and play sport. He is married to Noreen
and they have four great children who love life. At
ROOTS, he will serve as the Kids Venue Programme Host.
