ROOTS UK will host our first-ever theme exploration day in preparation for the 2005 event. We all realise that the concept of the Trinity is not necessarily an easy or straightforward concept to grasp. For this reason we are doing a little extra homework and research to make sure we get to grips with the whole concept as best we can. This will help us to express this theme in an accessible and theologically sound manner at the event.

The day will involve an invited group of people from a variety of backgrounds and experience gathering to worship, pray and think through the concept of the Trinity and contribute to discussion groups and theme development exercises.

The gathering will take place on July 27 in London and will include some of our event guests and ROOTS international representatives. Among them will be Geoff Ryan – event leader for ROOTS Canada, Corps officer of Project 614 and author of a number of books; and Ruth Dearnley who is one of our special guests for ROOTS 05.

The group would appreciate your prayers as they gather to seek God’s wisdom and insight for this exciting theme for ROOTS 05.
